Chris and Mike wanted to leave the corporate world behind and spend more time with their new baby, Matthew. This was in 1997, nearly 21 years ago, and today Anything For Baby Rental Service is thriving in the Phoenix Metro area.
Both Chris and Mike worked for a large corporation in Philadelphia, PA and the young family spent most vacation time visiting friends and family. They quickly realized how difficult it was to travel with a small child and lug all of the equipment along, too. Traveling with children is stressful enough without having to drag along the car seats, travel cribs, strollers, booster seats and anything else needed to make a family’s vacation more comfortable. And if your host or rental home are kind enough to have equipment available for you, there are so many questions. How old is it? Is it clean? Is it safe or has it been recalled?
Before Matthew was a year old, Mike was transferred to Phoenix, AZ. where it was quickly realized that it would be the perfect place to start the small company. With near perfect weather and beautiful resorts, Arizona is a year round vacation destination for people from all over the world. With just a few pieces of key baby gear and a three car garage Anything For Baby began and soon became the primary source for baby rental gear in the Phoenix Metro area.A phone call or online order is all that’s needed for families with children coming to the valley to reserve clean, safe baby gear or breast pumps. Rentals are delivered and picked up to a resort or residence. There is even a Sky Harbor Car Rental Center service available if you find you need equipment on your way to Sedona, Flagstaff, the Grand Canyon or Tucson. We make it easy!
Matthew is all grown up now and a recent graduate from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. When time allows he continues to contribute to the family business. Chris and Mike have now relocated the business to a warehouse in Scottsdale, expanded the inventory and operate with family members and seasonal employees. Today, Anything For Baby Rental Service, now 21 years later, truly has “anything for baby”.
